Last day in the south of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over 160 firing missions were carried out: mortars, boats of the occupiers’ DRG, etc. were destroyed.

The Ukrainian military destroyed the “Grad” rocket salvo fire system of the Russian occupiers on the Kinburn spit (Mykolaiv region), the operational command “South” reports.

“For the past day, our missile and artillery and aviation units have carried out more than 160 fire missions. According to the results of combat work in the area of ​​responsibility, the number of enemy units has been reduced by 13 units. On the Kinburn spit, the elimination of the enemy’s S-300 air defense missile system has been confirmed,” – it is said in the message.

In addition, a warehouse with ammunition in the area of ​​Novaya Kakhovka (Kherson region), two unmanned scouts, two motor boats, which were prepared for use by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups, were destroyed. An artillery radar complex, a 120-mm mortar and automobile equipment were also destroyed.

What is known about the situation on the Kinburn spit

Currently, the Kinburn spit remains a “grey zone” in the south of the country: neither Ukraine nor Russia controls it. Any attempts by the enemy to settle in this territory end in failure.

At the same time, the land corridor allows the occupiers to transfer weapons and heavy equipment there.

It was on the Kinburn spit and the group of islands on the Dnieper that the line of the southern front passed in January.

The Armed Forces is focused on destroying the enemy’s combat capabilities with strikes to the rear. According to the head of Mykolayiv OV Vitaly Kim, there are no civil fights left in this area today.

Losses of the Russian Federation in Ukraine

The Russian army continues to suffer heavy losses in battles with the Armed Forces. There are two reasons for the sharp increase in enemy losses – low-quality mobilization resources and a shortage of equipment, explained expert Oleksandr Kovalenko.

However, the Kremlin continues to throw unprepared “meat” into the battle. The enemy’s attempt to storm the Armed Forces in the Vugledar area ended in another fiasco.

British intelligence recently wrote about 200,000 “neutralized” Russians in the war with Ukraine, of which 60,000 were eliminated.

NATO intelligence clarified that against the background of a new large-scale offensive, the Russian Federation is losing up to 2,000 soldiers for every 90 square meters of captured territory. Prigozhin showed how one of these assaults ended: the “Wagnerian” posted a photo of a mountain of corpses of his mercenaries on the Internet.

Losses in the equipment of the Russian Federation are also large. According to IISS estimates, since February 24, Russia has lost about 50% of its pre-war fleet of modern T-72B3 and T-72B3M tanks. In addition, the enemy has significantly exhausted its reserves of cruise missiles, Russian aviation has also suffered losses.
