“12 units of special equipment and 53 personnel were involved in the work to eliminate the consequences of the explosion from the State Emergency Service. At 23:17, the fire that broke out at the scene was extinguished. The work continues by the State Emergency Service units,” the rescuers added.
As the press service of the State Emergency Service reported, as of 22:25, 2 people were rescued, including 1 child. “The body of a woman was discovered. 4 people, including 2 children, were hospitalized from the scene of the incident. The canine department of the State Emergency Service of the State Emergency Service is heading to the scene,” the message said.
At the same time, the mayor of the city, Andrei Sadovoy, reported that the body of a deceased man, approximately 45-50 years old, was found under the rubble. In addition, the body of a deceased woman about 70 years old was found in the adjacent house. The cause of her death is being investigated.

Earlier, the State Emergency Service noted that an explosion in a two-story private residential building occurred at 20:48 on December 23. According to preliminary information, the gas-air mixture exploded, resulting in the destruction of the wall followed by combustion.
At the same time, Lvov telegram channels write that while clearing the rubble, another explosion and fire occurred. Rescuers asked people to move away from the house to a safe distance.
