About 20 thousand law enforcement officers will ensure law and order and road safety during the holiday.
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies will strengthen security of public places and churches for Christmas on Monday, December 25. Deputy Head of the Department of Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine Anatoly Seredinsky spoke about this during the telethon.
He clarified that about 20 thousand law enforcement officers will ensure law and order and road safety during the holiday.
“The main efforts and outfits will be directed to places of worship where services will take place, as well as to places where citizens gather in large numbers,” Seredinsky noted.
In addition, he called on fellow citizens to consciously treat the restrictions imposed in the country due to martial law, and recalled the ban on the use of fireworks, firecrackers and other pyrotechnics during the war.
