A number of communities in the Kyiv region have problems with energy supply.
During a massive rocket attack in the Kyiv region, two people were killed in the Fastovsky district. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko.
“Massive shelling of Ukraine. Residential high-rise buildings, warehouses, critical infrastructure. Russia strikes in its characteristic terrorist manner,” he wrote.
According to Klimenko, Boryspil, Buchansky, and Fastivsky districts were affected in the Kiev region. In particular, two people died in Fastovschina; a fire in a residential building was extinguished.
In Vyshneve, 5 apartment buildings and more than 40 cars were damaged, 7 people were injured.
As for the capital, Klimenko said that in Kyiv, operational services are working in six districts where 7 fires occurred: Obolonsky, Pechersky, Podolsky, Solomensky, Svyatoshinsky and Desnyansky. More than 130 people were evacuated from a high-rise building in the Solomensky district. About 20 were rescued from blocked premises. In total, more than 20 wounded were recorded in the capital.
The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the information was submitted as of 10:00, the number of victims is changing.
The head of the Kyiv OVA, Ruslan Kravchenko, said that in the Kiev region, the evacuation of people to the nearest heating centers has been organized, where psychologists from the State Emergency Service will work with them.
“A number of private houses and more than 60 cars were damaged in the communities. Due to falling debris, a fire occurred in an unfinished church, several businesses and warehouses were damaged. One of the regional medical institutions was damaged,” the report said.
According to operational information, in addition to the two dead people, there were 11 wounded in the Kyiv region, including one child.
Kravchenko also reported that a number of communities in Brovary, Buchansky, Fastovsky, and Vyshgorod districts also had problems with energy supply.
