The Russians launched a missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of Tuesday, January 2, 2024, slightly changing the approach to the attack. This was stated by the head of the Center for Military Legal Research, Alexander Musienko.
“The attack on December 29 was characterized by the fact that, in addition to Kiev, missiles also flew at other Ukrainian cities, there was dispersion. This time, in fact, Kiev and Kharkov suffered the greatest blow, the attack was concentrated,” he emphasized on Channel 24.
In addition, Russian missiles were maneuvering in an attempt to bypass Ukrainian air defenses. According to Musienko, the Russian invaders are trying to establish how the air defense systems were moved.
“They are trying to establish how our air defense systems were redeployed, what was happening – this was preparation for the next attack,” he stated.

On the morning of Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Russian occupation forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine for the second time in several days. The enemy used various weapons, in particular Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles. All 10 of them were shot down.
The enemy attacked Kharkov, Kyiv and the Kyiv region, there is destruction. As of the evening of January 2, five deaths were reported as a result of the enemy strike. Another 130 people were injured.
