The occupiers have already used these missiles for attacks in Ukraine.
The United States of America convened a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the supply of ballistic missiles to Russia from the DPRK, which Moscow is using to attack Ukraine.
The permanent representative of Ukraine to the UN, Sergei Kislitsa, reported this on the social network X. According to him, the meeting will take place on January 10, 2024.
“The United States informs that it “has new information about weapons that Russia is receiving from third countries in support of its goal to destroy Ukraine and subjugate its people. “According to US information, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) recently transferred ballistic missile launchers and several dozen ballistic missiles to Russia,” Kislitsa wrote.
The US noted that on December 30, 2023, Russian forces launched at least one North Korean ballistic missile at Ukraine. They were also used during the January 2 strikes.
“The United States believes that Russia is using additional missiles from the DPRK to destroy more Ukrainian civilian infrastructure and kill Ukrainian civilians,” the report said.
