Several civilians were rescued from the rubble in Zmiev.
At about 10:30, State Emergency Service workers completed search and rescue operations at the site of an enemy missile hit in the city of Zmiev, Chuguevsky district.
As stated in the statement of the State Emergency Service, rescuers retrieved the body of a deceased 63-year-old woman from under the rubble of a private house. “Three hours earlier, two men were rescued there,” rescuers added.
It is noted that three pieces of equipment and 15 personnel were involved in the work.
The head of the Kharkov OVA Oleg Sinegubov added: “Unfortunately, a 62-year-old woman who was rescued from the rubble of a house in Zmiev died.”
According to updated data, a 63-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman were released from the rubble. Another 88-year-old man was given first aid.
Missile strike on Ukraine
In the morning, the Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine. Around 6:20, the Air Force confirmed the launches of cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea area.
Explosions were heard in a number of cities. In particular, there were at least four of them in the Kharkov region. Then the mayor of Kharkov, Igor Terekhov, said that this morning the enemy had attacked the city’s industrial facilities. “There is a fire and at the moment there is one woman injured. Our rescuers are already putting out the fire, doctors are working with the wounded,” he clarified then.
