In the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, invaders issue discounted fuel if you have a Russian passport.
The Russian occupiers have come up with a new way to encourage Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories to obtain a passport of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNS).
It is noted that in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region, invaders issue preferential coal, but only with a Russian passport.
“Thus, Ukrainians without a passport, who cannot purchase fuel on their own, are doomed to a cold death. Now in the TOT there is sub-zero temperature, and a significant number of villages are without electricity due to the inability of the occupation administration to ensure the vital functions of the region. However, the Russians are cynically using even this situation for their plans to change the demographic situation in the region,” the CNS notes.
It calls on citizens to report the location and movement of the enemy army, “and the Defense Forces will return warmth and peace to the region.”
Granting Russian citizenship to Ukrainians – latest news
In early January, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a massive distribution of Russian passports. He signed two decrees that simplify the admission of Russian citizenship to certain categories of Ukrainians, as well as to foreigners who have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of a terrorist country.
There was also a reaction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to Putin’s decree regarding the assignment of Russian citizenship to Ukrainian children. They claim that such insignificant actions violate international humanitarian law and do not create any legal consequences.
