An air raid alert has been declared in Ukraine since the morning. The occupiers took to the skies Tu-95MS aircraft from the Caspian Sea.

The air force reported that missiles of the X-101/555/55 type were launched from 6TU-95MS. “The estimated time for missiles to enter Ukrainian airspace is 06.00 – 07.00,” the message noted.

And at 6:43 the air force reported that a MiG-31K PKS fighter had taken off from the Savasleika airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region. After which the launches of “Daggers” began. They were launched across Kyiv and the Dnieper, where, according to local public reports, explosions were heard.

Later, the head of the Dnepropetrovsk OVA, Sergei Lysak, confirmed that explosions were heard in the city. “Since five in the morning it was loud several times in the region. All information is after the end of the alarm… Do not help the enemy and do not post or comment on anything,” he wrote.

Later, the Air Force called on Kiev residents to take shelter as missiles were heading towards the capital, but this threat was almost immediately canceled. But they added that another 2mig-31K was recorded taking off from the Savasleika airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

At 7:36 a.m., the Air Force reported that the invaders had launched another group of missiles, but the type could be different.

At 8:14, the Air Force cleared the missile threat throughout the entire territory of Ukraine, except for the western and Donetsk regions.

Missile attacks in Ukraine

Since December 2023, the occupiers have intensively attacked Ukraine with drones almost every night. And a few days before the new year they hit us with rockets. In particular, the invaders carried out a massive strike on December 29, 2023. Then, according to the air force, the enemy used 158 air attack weapons – attack drones and missiles of various types. The air defense forces managed to shoot down 114 targets.

The enemy carried out another massive missile attack on January 2. On that day, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory, using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. On January 2, air defense forces and means intercepted and shot down all enemy Shahed-type UAVs, more than 60 Kh-101/Kh555/Kh-55 missiles and 10 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal missiles.
