In the Avdeevka area alone, the Defense Forces repulsed 20 attacks from the enemy.

During the day, 78 military clashes took place on the front line. The Russian occupiers attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in different directions of the front.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in the evening report. Thus, in the Kupyansky direction, our defenders repelled 4 attacks near Sinkovka, Kharkov region. There the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Liman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 6 attacks near Ternov and Yampolovka, Donetsk region, where the invaders tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 4 attacks in the Bogdanovka and Kleshchievka areas of the Donetsk region. There the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical situation.

In the Avdeevsky direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 20 attacks in the Avdeevka area. Another 9 attacks were repelled near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region, where the invaders unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops.

In the Maryinsky direction, the Defense Forces continue to contain the enemy in the Georgievka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka areas of the Donetsk region. There, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried unsuccessfully 14 times to improve the tactical situation. In particular, in the Solodkoe-Konstantinovka direction, our defenders repelled an enemy assault, during which the enemy used 12 armored vehicles. As a result of the battle, 2 enemy tanks, 6 MT-LB and 1 infantry fighting vehicle were destroyed.

The enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations in the Shakhtarsky and Zaporozhye directions. At the same time, the occupiers do not abandon their intentions to dislodge Ukrainian units from their bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. During these days, 13 unsuccessful attempts were made to storm the positions of our troops.

War in Ukraine: it’s worth knowing

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that the Russian Federation was unable to achieve the goals set for its offensive. He noted that the enemy had big plans – access to the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

Meanwhile, the head of the public relations service of the command of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Fityo, reassured the Ukrainians amid rumors about a possible new attack on Kharkov from the north. According to him, there is no such threat now.
