Glitch in “Dii”: what is known
During the national selection for Eurovision, fans of the song contest began voting for their favorite artist in the “Diya” application. However, there were too many requests, which led to a massive outage.
According to the head of the Ministry of Digital Development, Mikhail Fedorov, if last year during the voting in “Diya” there were 800 requests per second, then this year they were recorded at 15,000.
“Compared to last year, we increased capacity 5 times (and received 20 times more requests). And therefore a huge queue arose. I apologize for this situation. We will do a detailed analysis, analysis and implement organizational changes in order to be ready for similar waves of traffic,” he explained.
After some time, “Diya” began to “come to life,” but other nuances appeared. For many users, instead of their name in the documents, the standard “Diya Nadezhda Vladimirovna” appeared, which is used in the samples. In addition, many found that they became the “owner” of a car or a pension certificate. Subsequently, the situation returned to normal, Ukrainians were again able to cast their votes.
