In Kyiv, victims of the rocket attack on February 7, 2024 can receive financial assistance from the humanitarian organization Acted. The amount of payments will be 10,800 hryvnia per person. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
Citizens who have had their homes significantly damaged or completely destroyed, or who have been injured or have lost family members as a result of a missile attack may be eligible for assistance.
It is noted that registration of the affected population in Kyiv began on February 8, 2024. During the first 24 hours, 52 affected families, consisting of 126 people, were registered.
This program of emergency multi-purpose cash assistance is being implemented by the French humanitarian organization Acted with the support of the Ministry of Reintegration. The project is funded by the US government through the USAID Office of Humanitarian Assistance.
To register, you need to have documents of all household members with you, including a passport, taxpayer registration number and child’s birth certificate. In addition, it is mandatory to provide a certificate of damage to the home or a photo of the damage.
The benefit will be paid in a lump sum by crediting a money transfer through branches of Oschadbank, Ukrposhta, PrivatBank or by transfer to a payment card of any bank.
Massive rocket attack on February 7
On the morning of February 7, Russian troops carried out a massive missile attack on Ukraine, in particular over Kiev and in the area of the capital. Air defense forces and means shot down about two dozen Russian missiles.
