Russia decided to hold Avdeevka with the remnants of the “hardware” of the 90th Tank Division, said analyst Alexander Kovalenko.

The command of the Russian Military District has probably made one of the final decisions regarding Avdeevka: they want to transfer the remnants of the “hardware” of the 90th Tank Division there.

They are going to take the city at the cost of everything, said military-political commentator Alexander Kovalenko.

“In the Limansky direction they are already beginning to be replaced by units of 47 TD 1 TA. In particular, units 347 SMEs 47 TD are already moving to Kremennaya, Rubezhnoe and Staraya Krasnyanka. They will replace the 348th SME 90 TD and 153rd TP. The further fate of 1441 SMEs and 428 SMEs 90 TD is still covered in the fog of the unknown,” he explained.

At the same time, Kovalenko noted that Russia began to withdraw the 228th motorized rifle regiment of the 90th tank division to restore combat capability. “If all units of the 90th TD are withdrawn, then only the 137th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st OVA and the 201st VB will remain in place. They can be reinforced by units of the 272nd MRR, which are now being driven to Kremennaya,” he noted.

The observer believes that this is an “interesting” exchange, which is unlikely to be equivalent in terms of the strength of the mentioned rotations. Such “movements” of Russia can only be explained by one thing:

“It seems that it is important for the ROV command to crush Avdiivka as soon as possible at any cost and at the cost of everything. This, by the way, once again indicates that the situation there is not developing entirely according to the planned scenario,” the military observer pointed out.

Volunteer says – the city of Avdeevka no longer exists

Earlier, volunteer Vlad Makhovsky told that Avdeevka as a city no longer exists. Last week he was in the war zone trying to evacuate the remaining Ukrainians there. He was “caught” by the invaders’ drone – the UAV operator was waiting for Vlad to get out of the car, on which “evacuation” was written in large letters.

The volunteer says that going to Avdeevka is very risky, but still they are trying to get out the “waiters” from there, who until the last hoped that the war would end quickly.
