The Zaporozhye authorities are planning to open underground schools to switch to offline learning. They may appear in the city by September 1. About this in an interview with Ukrinform. said the head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, the organization of education for children in shelters, as is now happening in Kharkov, is hindered only by the “reluctance of officials.” Therefore, we need to find a solution for a safe educational process in Zaporozhye.

“The task is simple: there are a number of schools, a number of ready-made shelters, there are those that need to be built, underground schools. Why was Kharkov able to do it, but Zaporozhye was not? Until September 1, there will be underground schools in Zaporozhye,” Fedorov assured.

He noted that about 50 schools are planned to open in the regional center in March. They want to open even more in a month.

“There is only one task: on September 1, all children must enter the mixed education system. Those who left will continue online,” the head of the OBA emphasized.
