The President of Ukraine and Macron must sign a new security agreement.
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky arrived on a visit to France: the third “historic” security agreement is on the Ukrainian leader’s agenda.
The head of state announced his arrival in Paris on Telegram. He clarified that he has already scheduled a meeting with Macron.
“Paris. A meeting with President Macron and an important agreement are planned. Our cooperation is yielding results in protecting the lives of Ukraine and our entire Europe,” Zelensky said.

As already noted, today, February 16, in Paris at the Elysee Palace, Vladimir Zelensky and Emmanuel Macron are due to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of security.
On Friday, Zelensky already visited Berlin, where during a meeting with Chancellor Olaf Scholz a similar document was signed.
It noted that Germany is determined to continue to provide Ukraine with modern military equipment, giving priority to air defense, artillery, armored vehicles, including ammunition. It intends to provide unwavering support to Ukraine for as long as necessary to help Ukraine defend itself and restore territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
Germany is unwavering in its support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the internationally recognized borders since 1991.
