Today it will be warmest in the west of Ukraine, and coldest in the east.
Today, February 20, an atmospheric front from cyclone Talisa from the northwest will bring rain and sleet to Ukraine. Forecaster Natalya Didenko speaks about this.
According to her, precipitation is expected in the west, north and some places in the central part of Ukraine. At the same time, there will be no precipitation today in the east, south, Dnieper and Kropyvnytskyi regions.
“The highest air temperature is expected in the western regions, +7…+12 degrees. The lowest is in the east, during the day -3…+1 degrees,” predicts Natalya Didenko.
In the north, according to her data, it will be -1…+3 degrees, in the central regions +2…+6 degrees, and in the southern part the thermometers will show +4…+8 degrees.
In Kyiv, according to Natalia Didenko’s forecast, Tuesday will be windy and cloudy. In the capital, sleet and rain are expected, and the temperature during the day will be +1…+3 degrees.
According to weather forecasters, partly cloudy weather is expected in Ukraine today. In the western and Zhytomyr regions, during the day also in the Vinnitsa, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions there will be light wet snow and rain, in the rest of the territory there will be no precipitation.
The wind is predominantly southerly, 5-10 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from 2° below zero to 3° above zero, and in the south of the country – up to 6° below zero. In the western regions the temperature will be 3-8°C during the day.
