According to the press secretary of OK “Yug”, Russia is now determining the level of readiness of the Ukrainian air defense.
The Russian Federation is preparing to launch a new massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, said the head of the press center of the Operational Command “South” Natalya Gumenyuk on the telethon.
“The enemy brought the launch vehicles to their bases, they are equipped and ready. Although not all of them are complete, we remember that at the beginning of the year they were used during massive missile attacks. And taking into account the general analytics, taking into account the pause that the enemy endured, understanding his gravity to sacred dates and various other interpretations, including preparations for the very quasi-elections that they are so actively presenting. We can say that now there is a certain calm, perhaps before the next storm,” the spokeswoman said.
Despite the fact that Russian ships are at their bases, this does not mean that there is no danger, Gumenyuk said.
“Even though the launch vehicles are located at their bases, we will talk about the fact that it takes 2-3 hours for them to arrive on combat duty. Therefore, we quickly monitor the situation and notify if it changes,” the spokeswoman explained.
She also added that there are now two boats of the Black Sea Fleet at sea: “This is to ensure control over the surface situation and protect the base. There is one ship in the Sea of Azov, which possibly provides control cover, including the Crimean Bridge.”
In addition, yesterday’s missile launch from the Black Sea towards Ukraine indicates preparations for a massive attack by the Russian Federation, the press secretary is convinced.
“This is a typical tactic of the enemy – targeted missile strikes will occur from time to time. Against the backdrop of the losses suffered by aviation, the enemy is using it carefully. And we see that a missile strike was launched from the Black Sea, that is, an attempt to measure readiness and density Air defense. Probably the missile was an X-31, it is an anti-radar missile. Over the Black Sea it lost its effectiveness,” Gumenyuk explained.
Bad day for the Russian Federation on the left bank of the Kherson region
Defense forces attacked a Russian training ground on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. At least 60 occupiers are known to have been liquidated. According to Gumenyuk, Russian losses may be greater than stated.
In addition, Gumenyuk sharply responded to Shoigu’s words about the “cleansing” of Krinok. She said that the occupiers were only able to plant a flag in the populated area and then flee from there.
