According to Sergei Filimonov, Russia is increasing its combat capabilities, training soldiers, and restoring combat units.
Ukraine needs at least 250 thousand mobilized to “keep what we have.” The commander of the Da Vinci Wolves battalion, Sergei Filimonov, said this in an interview with NV.
“This is so that we don’t talk in 2025 about how we can recapture the Dnieper, but now talk about how to recapture Avdiivka. … And this time is very good to use for the preparation, mobilization and restoration of units that will then have to defend the country,” the fighter believes.
According to him, Russia is increasing its combat capabilities, training soldiers, and also restoring its combat units, “and we must expect large massive meat assaults like Avdeevka, like Kupyansk, Zaporozhye direction.”
“We are facing not only a difficult spring and summer, we are facing difficult times in general. The only one who can ease them are our people, these are Ukrainians who must now enroll in the army, prepare and do everything to stop the enemy on those lines , on which it is today,” says the military man.
He noted that the only possible tactic that will give an advantage to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the future is active defense, “which we must engage in so that we have well-prepared and protected positions, and when the enemy attacks, inflict heavy losses on him.”
“And after that, think about our offensive actions in 2025. Now it’s obvious to everyone that the ball is in the enemy’s court and it’s his turn to attack,” Filimonov concluded.
Mobilization in Ukraine – latest news
President Vladimir Zelensky indicated what needs to be put in order regarding the issue of mobilization. According to him, it is necessary to deal with the fact that some of those mobilized have never been to the front.
As the head of state said, the rotation of military personnel who have been on the front line for a long time is the main issue that requires streamlining in the context of mobilization.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada explained what fair mobilization is. The head of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, Alexander Zavitnevich, believes that “fair mobilization is not about everyone necessarily getting into the trenches.”
According to the people’s deputy, it is necessary that subpoenas are served in a way that is understandable to everyone, and that illegal actions on the part of TCC representatives are excluded.
