In five years, the Russians can completely prepare sites for offensive operations at least in the north of Europe, a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer warned.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, by decrees, approved the creation of two more military districts in the Russian Federation – Leningrad and Moscow, and these districts are needed for attack.
Military districts are platforms where a sufficient number of forces and means necessary to carry out an attack will be deployed, said pilot instructor, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan on Radio NV. The expert noted that a lot of money is needed to create a military district.
“…in five years they (Russian invaders – Ed.) can completely prepare platforms for offensive actions at least in the north of Europe. The Leningrad and Moscow districts are the direction towards the Baltic countries, Finland. That is, this is exactly the Baltic theme. And the Russians have already begun this process,” the officer warned.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces colonel added that the Southern Military District (the headquarters is located in Rostov-on-Don) is engaged in full-scale aggression against Ukraine, and the Russian authorities have poured a lot of money into it. “They began to develop this district and prepare for it in five to seven years,” the interlocutor emphasized.
