According to Andrei Yusov, “this is all a repetition of already known theses from the parallel reality of Putin’s fantasy world.”
What the former President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, known for his inappropriate threats to the West, has on social networks, is now on the tongue of the current head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. This is how Andrey Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, commented on Putin’s two-hour speech before the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
According to him, neither the Russians, nor Ukraine, nor the world heard anything new in this appeal.
“This is a very long and boring speech of an aging dictator. And the older he gets, the longer, more meaningless and uninteresting his speeches become. There was not a single new message there. This is all a repetition of already known theses from the parallel reality of the fantasy world of Putin and his environment,” Yusov noted.
As is known, Putin in his speech mentioned the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron about the possible entry of Western troops into Ukraine and threatened “tragic consequences” for states that dare to send their troops.
“These are all paraphrased speeches and messages from Medvedev, which he makes every day, threatening the countries of the free world and, in general, all countries with the use, in particular, of nuclear weapons,” the Ukrainian intelligence officer said.
According to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, the “political pensioner” Putin makes similar statements from time to time to consolidate and cement propaganda within Russian society. Yusov also noted that with his speech, the leader of the Russian Federation once again opposed all the achievements of modern civilization and democracy.
“Of course, we are not talking about any attempts at dialogue, negotiations, a just peace and any kind of partnership with the West, with Ukraine or with the free democracies of the world in general. This is about the language of escalation, the language of hatred, the language of threats,” – Yusov emphasized.
Putin’s speech before the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation
During his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened the world with a “nuclear club.” According to him, the strategic nuclear forces of the Russian Federation are in a state of full readiness.
Putin denied information disseminated by the United States about Russia’s plans to place nuclear weapons in space. He noted that this is a “stuffing”, the purpose of which is supposedly an attempt to “draw us into negotiations on our own terms, which are beneficial exclusively to the United States.”
In addition, the Russian leader confirmed that Russia is using “hypersonic” Kinzhal and Zircon missiles in the war against Ukraine.
