According to the military man, recruiting works in Ukraine.
When it comes to recruiting military personnel into the ranks of the Defense Forces, the focus should not be on mobilization. This opinion was expressed by Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Kirill Sazonov.
“It seems to me that the emphasis should be placed not on mobilization, but on volunteers. On recruits, so that people go to the brigade. I see how the guys from Azov, from the 3rd Assault, from Kraken in the GUR worked out “, he explained on air on the Kiev24 TV channel.
According to the military man, recruiting in Ukraine is working, volunteers are coming. But he stressed that people want to join “a specific brigade that they believe in, know how it works, and for a well-known position.”
“A bad drone operator is not necessarily a good infantryman. A good technician, a good tank driver – he should also be hired for this specific specialty. The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are now working in this direction. It seems to me that the experience is very successful. I know many people who do not want go to the TCC, but they want to go to specific brigades voluntarily. It seems to me that this is how we should work,” Sazonov summed up.
Mobilization in Ukraine: it’s worth knowing
A recent survey by the research agency Info Sapiens showed that in Ukraine, 35% of men fit for service among those who do not have armor and are not yet serving are ready to mobilize when the call comes.
Meanwhile, Deputy Defense Minister Ekaterina Chernogorenko said that two months after the president signs the law on mobilization (after its adoption in the Verkhovna Rada), an electronic account for those liable for military service, conscripts and military personnel will be launched in Ukraine.
