In Odessa, eight people have already died as a result of a Russian drone strike on a high-rise building. The head of the Odessa OVA Oleg Kiper told who the Russians were victims of.
According to him, eight deaths are known so far. These are three men, 35, 40 and 54 years old, two women, 73 and 31 years old, two children, 3-year-old Mark and 4-month-old Timofey.
“A woman’s body has just been pulled out from under the rubble. Her details are being established. Sincere condolences to the families of the victims…” added Kiper.
The head of the OBA noted that the rescue operation in Odessa has been going on for the 20th hour. All relevant services are working at the scene of the tragedy. One person asked for temporary housing. Heating has been restored to the homes of Odessa residents who were left without heat due to a night drone attack. In particular, to a house in which one of the outer entrances collapsed.
Kiper also emphasized that all day long, caring Odessa residents bring water, food and warm clothes to the affected residents.
According to the regional headquarters of the State Emergency Service, as of 21:30, 9 people were injured, of which one was a child. Five people were rescued.
“Eight died. Eternal memory to the victims. An extremely difficult day for Odessa. We continue to work,” the rescuers note.
Updated: It turned out that the mother and baby who died due to the impact were the family of a priest. According to Roman Medyanik, pastor of the Odessa People’s Church, we are talking about family members of a Baptist elder.
“Anna Gaidarzhi with her 4-month-old son Timofey, the daughter of Nikolai Mikhailovich Sidak, pastor of the Odessa Peresyp ECB Church, found herself under the rubble of a multi-storey building. Anya’s husband Sergei and daughter miraculously remained safe, being in the next room,” Medyanik said.

On the night of March 2, the Russian army sent 8 attack drones from the Black Sea to the Odessa region. Seven targets were destroyed, but one of the drones, during maneuvers among residential areas of a residential area of Odessa, hit a 9-story building. One entrance was almost completely destroyed.
