In the Chernihiv region, a civilian man was killed during a mortar attack. This was announced by the Chairman of the Chernigov Regional State Administration Vyacheslav Chaus.

It is noted that the man died at about 16:00 in the Semyonovskaya community of the region. It is known that he was born in 1972. Neighbors found the body near the crater.

According to the communications department of the Chernigov region police, the Russian army carried out shelling of the civilian population of the border villages of the Semyonovskaya community of the Novgorod-Seversky district.

As a result of the attack by Russian drones, a private house in one of the villages of the Semenovskaya community was also destroyed. The owner of the house was inside the house and miraculously survived.

The investigative and operational group of the Novgorod-Seversky regional police department and the Semenovshchina police worked at the sites of enemy hits.

The police recorded the consequences of the Russian attacks. Based on these facts, investigators opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of the laws and customs of war).
