Denmark will transfer a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, which will include CAESAR self-propelled artillery mounts, self-propelled 120-mm mortars and ammunition for them. This was reported by the country’s Ministry of Defense.
“Artillery and mortar systems are in high demand by Ukraine. With this donation package, we are making a significant contribution to the fight for Ukraine’s freedom in the form of both additional CAESAR artillery systems and associated ammunition. The donations are made in cooperation with our allies and send an important signal that we We stand behind Ukraine on a broad front,” said Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.
It is noted that this is the 16th package of military assistance for Ukraine from Denmark. Its total cost is about 2.3 billion crowns, that is, more than 336 million dollars. France, Estonia and the Czech Republic also provided money to pay for this package.
