UZ allocated about 30 additional carriages for group transportation of children in March.
Ukrzaliznytsia is scheduling additional flights to the most popular destinations during the spring school holidays, the carrier’s press service reported.
It is noted that the following additional trains will travel across the country:
- train No. 159/160 Kyiv – Truskavets will depart from Kyiv on March 23 at 10:24 and arrive in Truskavets at 19:35. From Truskavets the train will depart on the same date at 8:26 and arrive in Kyiv at 18:44.
- train No. 191/192 Kyiv – Lviv will depart from Kyiv on March 24 at 7:37 and arrive in Lviv at 17:21. From Lviv the train will depart on the same date at 11:55 and arrive in Kyiv at 22:09.
- train No. 255/256 Kyiv – Rakhiv runs every other day on even days from Kyiv at 14:59 and arrives in Rakhiv at 7:50. In the opposite direction, from Rakhiv, the train departs every other day on odd days at 19:37 and arrives in Kyiv at 13:01.
- train No. 192 Lviv – Kyiv will depart from Lviv on March 17 at 11:55 and arrive in Kyiv at 22:09.
- train No. 195 Kyiv – Ivano-Frankivsk will depart from Kyiv on March 17 at 7:37 and arrive in Ivano-Frankivsk at 18:18. On the same day, train No. 91 will depart from Ivano-Frankivsk to Kyiv at 19:25, arriving in the capital at 6:19.
- train No. 201/202 Kharkov – Vorokhta departs from Kharkov every other day on even days at 18:55 and will arrive in Vorokhta at 14:09. From Vorokhta the train departs on odd days at 16:29 and arrives in Kharkov at 12:33.
- train No. 203/204 Dnepr – Vorokhta departs from Dnieper on odd days at 14:35 and arrives in Vorokhta at 14:09. From Vorokhta the train will depart on even days at 16:29 and arrive in Dnepr at 12:35.
“In addition, predicting future demand, Ukrzaliznytsia has already allocated about 30 additional cars for group children’s transportation in March,” the statement says.

Ukrzaliznytsia will begin selling tickets to Austria and Hungary online from March 18. At the first stage, online tickets will be available on the route Ukraine – Austria and back.
At the second stage, tickets will also become available online on the Ukraine-Hungary route for trains traveling to Austria in transit through Hungary, that is, Kyiv-Budapest-Vienna and Chop-Budapest-Vienna.
On March 7, it became known that Ukrzaliznytsia was launching beta testing of ticket monitoring with the possibility of auto-redemption for domestic trains.
