Russian President Vladimir Putin has been clinging to power for a long time and has no plans to leave it. Many are interested in the question of how long the Russian dictator can live, even if he is under the supervision of the best doctors in the world and transplants his organs almost every year. According to candidate of biological sciences and geneticist Elena Podgornaya, under such conditions it is quite possible that Putin can live another 50 years.

“Let’s keep in mind that genetics and medicine are not everything. External factors – different in nature – sometimes have a very serious impact on the length and quality of a person’s life… I think we can count on this,” she said in an interview with Telegraph.

According to Podgornaya, it is possible to live up to 100 years without transplants, because in the villages of Ukraine hundreds of grandmothers who survived hunger, war and did hard physical labor all their lives also lived to be a century old.

When a geneticist was asked if there were any formulas that could be used to determine a person’s possible life expectancy, she replied that “longevity is not directly inherited, like eye or hair color.”

“More than 200 genes in our body are responsible for longevity. In addition, life expectancy is influenced by lifestyle and the environment: where you live, what you eat, what you breathe, how often you move,” explained the candidate of biological sciences.

The chances of inheriting longevity become more possible with age, she said. Experts believe that until the age of 65-70, people independently create longevity for themselves, and after crossing this line, they can count on genetics.

“In addition, thoughts play an important role. Today there are many studies, the results of which show that optimists, people with positive thinking and resistance to stress always live longer than pessimistic people,” Podgornaya added.

However, as we know, the most famous bad people in history live quite a long time. The geneticist claims that positivity is different for each person.

“If we feel cheerful by doing good and living at peace with the world, scum can be genuinely joyful and optimistic while committing crimes against humanity. It doesn’t matter where exactly a person draws this energy, as long as he allows it to fuel him. Sort of As sad as it may sound, it is likely that such people are really kept on earth by bad deeds,” the expert noted.

Presidential elections in the Russian Federation: latest news

Earlier, the UK Ministry of Defense reported that residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were forced by Russian occupiers to vote for Vladimir Putin two days before the elections.

As wrote, Putin accused Ukraine of trying to disrupt his re-election for a fifth term, which is due to take place on March 15-17. This is how he commented on Ukraine’s attacks on the Russian Federation.

“The main goal, I have no doubt about it, is to, if not disrupt the presidential elections in Russia, then at least somehow interfere with the normal process of expressing the will of citizens,” said the Russian dictator.
