Instead of 4 months, officer courses will now last 40 days.
In Ukraine, the procedure for obtaining an officer rank will be significantly simplified for mobilized doctors. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
“From now on, you can get the rank of junior lieutenant and return to serve in a more appropriate position in just 40 days, which includes: online courses and 18 days of practical training within the walls of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Natalya Kalmykova.
It is noted that the norm on officer rank within 40 days applies to mobilized medical workers who did not graduate from the military department. Previously, they had to take 4-month courses. The shortened course will include 22 days of theoretical classes and 18 days of practice.
For civilian doctors who want to obtain an officer rank, the course will last 4 months.
