Zaporozhye news is now in the spotlight – Russian invaders on Friday, March 22, launched almost 20 missiles at the city in a few hours, their target was critical infrastructure. The enemy hit only civilian targets.
One person became a victim of the opponents, there are eight wounded, says the Telegram channel of the head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov. Then the head of the OVA reported that 10 people were injured and three were missing. After this, he shared that the number of injured had increased to 14 residents, and two people were considered missing. Fedorov later wrote that the death toll as a result of the missile attack on Zaporozhye had increased to three people.
He spoke in detail about the consequences of the attack during the telethon. According to him, infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed, and vehicle traffic on the dam of the Dnieper hydroelectric power station was blocked.
“Today, at 4 am, the enemy began to strike our civilian infrastructure in the city of Zaporozhye and the Zaporozhye region… Indeed, today… the movement of cars through the Dnieper Hydroelectric Power Station is blocked, indeed part of the critical infrastructure has been damaged. Now rescuers, all services are working…”, – said the official. Fedorov added that traffic could be restored in the near future, in a day at most.
Enemies also hit a large number of residential buildings; at least seven one-story buildings were destroyed on the right bank of Zaporozhye. In addition, there is an “arrival” near a high-rise building; windows in at least 20 residential buildings were blown out and balconies were destroyed.
Rescuers are working, they are clearing away the rubble, especially in the private sector, where residents were simply sleeping, and the occupiers were aiming missiles at them. There are definitely people under the rubble. There were some casualties.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian Federation hit the critical infrastructure of our state with 151 air targets, in particular, attack drones, cruise missiles and ballistics.
Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 55 drones, 35 cruise missiles and two guided aircraft missiles. Due to the powerful Russian strike, power shutdown schedules have been introduced in a number of regions of our state.
