He noted that dozens of foreign components were found in all Iskanders, Kinzhals and other Russian missiles, as well as in martyrs.
The Russian missiles and bombs that were used to strike the Ukrainian energy system on March 22 contained more than 7 thousand foreign components.
President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in an evening video message. “In all these Iskanders, Kinzhals and other Russian missiles, in the martyrs there are dozens of components that are imported for terror from other countries,” the head of state said.
He noted that the missiles that were used against the Ukrainian power grid on March 22 contained at least 300 types of components from 10 countries. Together with the “martyrs” there are a total of at least 7.5 thousand components.
“Each of them is a violation of the sanctions regime against Russia, each is someone’s attempt to make money by destroying lives. This must be stopped,” Zelensky emphasized. In this regard, he noted that it is important for partners to act together every time “when missiles and drones try to destroy life, to act to reduce the potential for terror, to block it.”
