In his opinion, the plan for the terrorist attack was born in the Kremlin.
The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in the Moscow region was organized by the regime of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Russian opposition politician Andrei Sidelnikov.
On Channel 24, he noted that the terrorist attack itself was planned by the Russian special services. According to him, the fiction about the “Ukrainian trace” was planted in order to intensify terror within Russia with the aim of announcing a large-scale mobilization.
The Russian authorities will try to use the events at Crocus as justification for the need for future mobilization. They say that Russians should go to the front to “take revenge on the Ukrainians.”
“When there are drone attacks (in Russia), Ukrainian law enforcement agencies do not hide it and say that this is happening because of Russia’s attack on Ukraine, because Russia is committing genocide of the Ukrainian people. Therefore, I completely exclude Ukraine’s involvement in the terrorist attack because for how the Russian authorities react to the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Sidelnikova added.
In his opinion, the plan for the terrorist attack was born in the Kremlin. He also recalled the terrorist attack in Beslan schools in the fall of 2004. After those events, Putin canceled the gubernatorial elections.
“The Russian authorities are accustomed to adopting a repressive law through intimidation of the population. That is why the issue of the death penalty has arisen, which is already being widely discussed by State Duma deputies. These methods will be introduced under the pretext of fighting terrorists,” the opposition politician believes.
Terrorist attack in the Moscow region
On March 22, 2024, a terrorist attack occurred in Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow. There, armed people opened fire. After this, a fire broke out in the building.
Russian media reports more than 100 dead. There were many versions as to who committed the terrorist attack, in particular they talked about the connection of the attackers with ISIS. At the same time, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, who made an appeal almost a day after the terrorist attack, “dragged” Ukraine into these events.
Against the backdrop of such statements, Great Britain warned Putin not to use the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall to escalate the war against Ukraine. London noted that there are no signs of Ukraine’s involvement in what happened.
