SBOL appeared in the App Store: the "official" copy of Sberbank Online

August 16, 2022, 17:35

For several months now, users of Apple devices have been deprived of the opportunity to install applications of some Russian banks due to the fact that they have been removed from the App Store, and the closed nature of iOS systems does not allow installation of applications from third-party sources. Sberbank has found an elegant solution: today the SBOL and Investor applications appeared in the App Store catalog, which are essentially copies of the original Sberbank Online and SberInvestor. At the same time, Sber itself stated that the applications are not phishing and recommended that its customers install them if necessary. It is not known how long these applications will last and whether Apple will make such an attempt to circumvent sanctions, and therefore all owners of iOS devices should hurry with the installation.
