Xiaomi has introduced a new flagship series 12T, which includes two models – Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro. Each of them includes one technical innovation within the brand line. In the case of the Xiaomi 12T, we are talking about the Dimensity 8100 Ultra chipset, the new iteration of MediaTek’s hit 5G 8. If we talk about Xiaomi 12T Pro, then its main advantage was the 200-megapixel Samsung HP1 camera, which was previously available in a limited number of models. The sensor is endowed with an optotube, accompanied by a system of 8 lenses, and the structure allows you to get 4-in-1 and 16-in-1 binning. Declared support for 2x zoom at the sensor level, the ability to record video in 8K format, ProFocus technology (tracks and captures motion, follows the eyes). Xiaomi 12T has a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 sensor as an alternative to the “mega-camera”. In both cases, the main module is supplemented with 8-megapixel wide and 2-megapixel macro.

Continuing the theme of the common advantages of the two models, we highlight a 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1220p (the new trendy 1.5K format), a 480Hz touch sensor and good color reproduction, stereo speakers (Harman / Kardon for Xiaomi 12T Pro) with Dolby Atmos, 120W 5000mAh battery charger, in-screen finger scanner and MIUI 13 on Android 12 (3 Android updates and 4 years of general support). The two models differ in nuances in terms of wireless connections (associated with MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1), but they have the same design (up to dimensions and weight).

Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro are available in three colors – black, gray and blue. The price in Europe starts at €599 for the Xiaomi 12T and €749 for the Xiaomi 12T Pro (8/128GB in both cases). So far, nothing is known about the prospects for appearance in Russia. In Europe, gadgets will appear in the near future.
