Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro with microSD? Strange notes from the manual

October 03, 2022, 16:33

Thursday night is notable for mobile device lovers thanks to the announcement of the Pixel 7, Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds Pro. It is on them that the main “hunt” is conducted by sources of leaks. Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) joined them, posting user guide snippets for the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch. It would seem nothing out of the ordinary, but if you look at the photos of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro for a long time, you will notice a note about the presence of a microSD slot. A useful feature, to put it mildly, is not typical for Pixel smartphones (and for Nexus, which was before the rebranding). We also see an 8-megapixel front camera here, although we can say with certainty that there will be a 10.8-megapixel module. What happened to the person who drew this manual is not clear, but the fans of “Googlephones” would obviously like this slot to still be on the list of Pixel 7 advantages. We will know for sure on October 6th.
