On Monday, Musk said that Apple “threatened to remove Twitter” from the App Store, but Tim Cook explained to the entrepreneur that this was not the case.

Elon Musk visited the Apple campus, where the company’s CEO Tim Cook gave him a tour. Elon posted a video of the walk on Twitter, in which you can see the shadows of two people — him and someone else who looks like Cook.

On Monday, Musk said publicly that Apple planned to remove his social network from the App Store, and then criticized the company’s policy of taking a 30% commission on every in-app purchase. The billionaire even delayed the launch of Twitter Blue, a paid subscription that adds a verification check box and access to several more priority services for $8 a month.

On Wednesday, Musk wrote that he had a “misunderstanding” with Apple, but Tim Cook later clarified the situation.

It’s unclear if the CEOs have discussed the App Store commission, Musk has been tight-lipped about it so far. However, Elon was seen deleting a tweet with a meme saying he was ready to “go to war” to avoid paying Apple interest.
