You can pay for travel on the Kyiv ring train with a bank or transport card

Soon, residents of Kyiv and guests of the capital will be able to pay for their fare on the circular train using a bank card or a city transport card. This was reported by Petro Olenich, Deputy Chairman of the KSDA for the implementation of self-government powers in the field of digital development, digital transformations and digitalization (CDTO).

It is noted that the Kyiv authorities together with the company “Ukrzaliznytsia” are working on the integration of the payment system in the electric train with the general transport system of Kyiv. To pay for a ride on a circular train, passengers will only need to attach a bank card or a mobile device with NFC support to a validator with branded stickers. Such an opportunity will be available at the stations of the ring train.

It is expected that the payment of fares in the circular train using a bank or city transport card will be fully operational by the end of December.
