The official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will take place in about a month, but insiders are still looking for clues about the details and specifications of the new series.

Previous leaks have shown that the model line of new Samsung flagships will receive minimal updates: the S23 Ultra will look almost identical to the S22 Ultra, while the standard S23 devices will have minor changes in the camera matrix.

91Mobiles has shown off some official marketing images that give us a closer look at the Galaxy S23 series in their signature colors. A rose-purple color is available for the Galaxy S23 Plus, and a unique green shade for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with other color options also expected.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series comes in pink-purple and green shades, will receive batteries with a larger capacity and displays with a brightness of up to 1750 nt.

Last year, for the Galaxy series, Samsung went with light pink for the S22/S22 Plus and deep green for the Ultra. The 2023 models don’t stand out, but the colors themselves look quite nice.

In addition, insider Ahmed Kwaider published a few more details about the display and battery characteristics of the upcoming flagships:

  • The SuperAMOLED displays on all three Galaxy S23 devices will have a maximum brightness of 1750 nt;
  • The base Galaxy S23 will come with a 3,900 mAh battery (compared to the S22’s 3,700 mAh) and will get a charger with a 25W output power;
  • The S23 Plus, meanwhile, is going to “jump” up to 4,700 mAh from 4,500 mAh, while the S23 Ultra will stay the same at 5,000 mAh;
  • The Plus and Ultra models will use 45W charging.
