In October we ordered two LG sound bars from Currys PC World, costing £199 each. My bank card was declined so I used another one to complete the purchase. Back home, I checked my bank account and noticed that the first card payment had gone through after all. My bank said it could not stop it.
When I collected the sound bars from the store a couple of days later I explained the situation and was told that one of the payments would be refunded in five days. My money did not arrive, so I returned again and was told to ring customer services, which I did, but to no avail.
I rang again on Jan 1 and was told the refund would be with me in seven days. It has not materialised. I have been chasing for nearly two months.
