There are a couple of days left before the summer presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, which means it’s time for the heaviest spoilers. The other day we got acquainted with a bunch of press shots of all the new products and even looked at them live. Now @UniverseIce offers to talk about potentially the most controversial element: the under-screen front camera. Last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 was remembered for its frankly poor implementation against the background of the achievements of ZTE and Xiaomi: the frontal area was quite visible, and the picture above it crumbled into pixels.
The Koreans have not abandoned the development of technology, and now, according to the source slide, the Samsung Display division has worked hard for a year: with the new pixel structure, the ppi indicator has increased significantly (from 94 to 132), due to which the front camera has visually become noticeably more “invisible”. However, even with such an upgrade, Galaxy Fold 4 will be inferior to Chinese solutions.
