The main question is how the Armed Forces of Ukraine could hit the military airport of the occupiers in Crimea. The Russian Ministry of Defense almost immediately stated that “there were no arrivals,” but it seemed that suddenly “several aviation ammunition was detonated, aircraft were not damaged and there were no human casualties either.” At the same time, at least five victims are already known, including a child.
The Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on the explosions in the occupied Crimea. But if we start from the information available on the network, then among the long-range weapons with which our military is potentially capable of striking deep into the territory controlled by the enemy, the first thing that comes to mind is the ATACMS missiles for the HIMARS MLRS, which are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 km ( yes, the delivery of these missiles was not officially announced, however, there should not be an AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missile either). Among other versions actively discussed in social networks is a modified anti-ship missile R-360 “Neptun”, or OTRK “Grom” / “Sapsan”. Also, the possibility of an air strike by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces or partisan actions cannot be ruled out, although these options seem less realistic.
