As you know, the announcement of Lenovo Legion Y70 should take place in the near future. And although the new product is based on the Moto X30 , differing for the most part in the design of the case and the fresh Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, there were still a couple of changes. Firstly, as follows from the new promotional materials, the device received a simplification of the camera: the 50-megapixel wide was replaced with a 13-megapixel analog. The main 50-megapixel module with OIS + EIS remains the same and is still capable of recording 8K@30fps video. Its capabilities are invited to evaluate the three pictures below.

Secondly, the transition to a rectangular body made it possible to accommodate a battery increased by 100 mAh (5100 mAh), as well as to reduce the thickness from 8.49 to 7.99 mm (though with an increase in weight to 209 g). But charging remained the same – 68 W and 80% charge in 34 minutes. The Legion Y70 will also get a cooling case-radiator like the one that got the OPPO Find X5 Pro. Well, as a bonus, the company finally announced the date of the announcement: August 18th.
