Motorola unveiled the much-acclaimed Frontier project, which took the lead in using the Samsung HP1’s 200-megapixel camera. During the presentation, representatives of the company paid attention to the intricacies of the sensor, which includes two levels of binning: 16-in-1 for 12-megapixel images (basic) and 4-in-1 for 50-megapixel photos (intermediate). An ISP from Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will work on the innovative module, and two additional lenses will help with scenarios: a 50-megapixel wide lens with a capture angle of 117 degrees and autofocus for macro and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait camera with 2x optical zoom. It is impossible not to note the 60-megapixel front camera, inscribed in a hole in the center of the front panel.

Qualcomm’s flagship hardware is supported by LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 memory, and user interaction takes place through a 144Hz IPS panel with a high level of peak brightness. The manufacturer also focuses on fast charging capabilities: a 4610 mAh battery is charged with a power of 125 W via wire, 50 W wirelessly and returns energy by 10 W (reverse wireless charging). There is NFC, Wi-Fi 6, 5G and other benefits of civilization.

Motorola Moto X30 Pro will be available in black and white and in three configurations – 8/128, 12/256 and 12/512 GB. The price starts at 3699 yuan. Outside of China, the model will appear a little later under the name Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The exact dates are not yet known.
