Another novelty of the day was the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 tablet. Despite the new design in the style of Xiaomi 12 / 12S, the device lives up to its name, being a larger version of last year’s Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro with several improvements. The same Snapdragon 870 chipset is used here, and the parameters of the IPS screen, with the exception of the diagonal, are the same. The 67-watt charging has not changed either, but the battery has increased – exactly up to 10,000 mAh.
The main cameras, despite the deceptive design, are two: a 50-megapixel main and a 2-megapixel cap, and the front camera was pumped from 8 to 20 megapixels. There are 4 Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and an improved USB-C port, finally implemented using the high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 1 protocol. The all-metal body has a thickness of 6.66 mm, a weight of 620 and three colors: white, black and green. The price tags for Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 are as follows: 2999, 3499 and 4199 yuan for the 6/128, 8/256 and 12/512 GB versions. Tablet sales will start on August 16.
