Amazon Prime has released a new trailer for the long-awaited fantasy series The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, which will be released on September 2.
The series “The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power” will take place in the Second Age. This is an earlier period compared to what was shown in previous films. The Amazon Prime series will tell the story of how the iconic Rings of Power were forged and how Sauron rose to power. The series was originally scheduled for 5 seasons, and the showrunners know in advance what its finale will be.
The new trailer focuses a lot on Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) and her journey. An elven warrior takes up a sword to hunt down an enemy after her brother’s death.
The trailer also shows Durin IV (Owain Arthur) the Prince of Khazad-dum. He is trying to find his place and decide what it will be like in his future kingdom. There are also scenes in the trailer with the Hobbits, the Harfoot family with young Nori Brandyfoot (Markella Cavena) looking for adventure. And additionally, the trailer also hints at the imminent rise of Sauron.
The first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power will be shown on Friday, September 2 at 4:00 AM ET. The next six episodes will be released one each next Friday, but already at 7:00 am Kyiv time.
