04 October 2022, 17:11

Although five months have not passed since the debut of the OPPO Reno 8 series, discussions on the Reno 9 generation have already begun on the Web. They started with the appearance of one of the models in the base of the Chinese TLC regulator (not to be confused with TCL!). From there, it became known that one of the models was named OPPO Reno 9 5G and is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery powered by a USB-C connector. It also mentions the colorway “Everything Red” (“Everything is red”), which the publication WhyLab associated with plans for a release around the Chinese New Year, which will take place on January 22. Digital Chat Station also contributed, revealing the chipset. While Reno 8 Pro received Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, Reno 9 5G will be based on the weaker Snapdragon 778G. It remains to be hoped that older models will offer more powerful chips.
