Previously, there were rumors that the display bezel on the Google Pixel Watch would be thick. The leaked images confirm these rumors. Moreover, judging by these images, the bezel will not just be thick, but very thick – it looks like it takes about 10 mm from the estimated overall case diameter of 41 mm.
For the most part, Wear OS 3 hides the black ring well, making it part of the display. But in some display options, it will still be very obvious.
Google announced the Pixel Watch back in May at its I/O event. Numerous leaks then revealed many of the features of the upcoming watch. The Pixel Watch is reportedly running an “enhanced” version of Wear OS 3 with access to native apps such as Google Maps, Google Assistant, Google Wallet, and Google Home. They also have Fitbit integration for viewing and tracking health information.
The Pixel Watch is expected to be priced at $349 for the basic Wi-Fi and Bluetooth version, while the LTE version will retail for $399. Whether this is so, we will find out tomorrow, since the presentation of the Pixel 7 and Pixel Watch is scheduled for October 6th .
