The trailer shows first one and then a group of hunters roaming the fantasy lands of Azuma. They are hunting one of the Kemono monsters called Kingtusk. A huge animal not only has great mass and strength, but is also able to control the surrounding plants, using this gift as a weapon against hunters.

Despite the might of the monster, the game will provide players with a wide variety of tools and weapons to give them a chance to win. During the battle, players can create various devices and structures to more effectively counter the giant beast. Players will have Karakuri devices such as aircraft, catapults, bombs and other hunting devices in their arsenal.
