Apple yesterday announced the iPad 10, which for the first time in this “budget” series offered USB-C instead of the iconic Lightning. The company announced support for the first generation Apple Pencil, which charges via Lightning. How to be? Naturally, Apple has provided a solution that some users will find comical. So, to charge the pencil, you will need an adapter for $9, which will allow you to connect the stylus to the tablet using the bundled cable. Only those who already have a stylus and who buy an iPad 10 will have to pay extra. If you take the new Apple Pencil of the first generation, then it is included in the package. The main problem with all this is that the cord and adapter will have to be carried with you, otherwise, after discharging, the pencil will be temporarily useless. Recall that the iPad 10 was priced at $449 for the base version.
