OnePlus launched the OnePlus Nord N300 in the US market, replacing the Nord N200 that was a hit in the US, accounting for 60% of OnePlus’ sales in the country. And although it has been more than a year since the launch of the latter, in some aspects it surpasses today’s newcomer. For example, the resolution of the 90-Hz IPS screen of the Nord N200 is FHD +, while the Nord N300 received an HD + panel, and even lost the laconic frontal hole, which is now located in a drop. By the way, it was also simplified – from 16 to 8 megapixels.
In terms of the chipset, the upgrade also went wrong: instead of Snapdragon 480, they installed MediaTek Dimensity 810 with a similar level of performance. The camera set consists of a 48MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the 5000mAh battery is charged with 33W technology. There is a microSD tray, a finger scanner in the power button and a 3.5mm audio jack.
And if one of the readers suddenly had a deja vu effect, your memory does not fail you, because several devices with similar characteristics and design have already come out on behalf of the Chinese BBK. The closest is the Realme Narzo 50 5G , which sells noticeably cheaper in India at Rs 13,999 ($169) and boasts an FHD+ screen and stereo speakers. The sound component of the Nord N300 OnePlus is modestly silent, but let’s hope that the stereo sound is not a victim of simplification. The OnePlus Nord N300 will hit US stores on November 3 as a T-Mobile exclusive for $228.
