Xiaomi has introduced the next generation of mid-range smartphones Redmi Note. The Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro + are the key models in the huge palette of Redmi Note 12. Both marked the world premiere of the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset with 5G and that’s it, they offer a modern design, a powerful camera (more on that below) and MIUI 13. The key differences between them are the camera, charging power for a 5000 mAh battery, a slight difference in dimensions. There’s NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and even a 3.5mm audio jack. The body is made of glass.
Redmi Note 12 Pro
Well, now the most important thing. The key difference between the two versions of Redmi Note 12 Pro is the camera. If the standard version uses the hit 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 lens, then the Redmi Note 12 Pro uses the latest 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HPX. Both have optical image stabilization, both can record video in 4K at 30fps, both are accompanied by an 8MP wide lens with a 119-degree capture angle and a 2MP macro shutter. For “themselves” a 16-megapixel front camera is offered, which is mounted in a hole in the center of a 120-Hz AMOLED panel with high brightness and support for Dolby Vision. The sound is output to stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be available in China from November 1, starting at 1699 yuan. The buyer will be offered four colors – black, white, blue and pink (only for Redmi Note 12 Pro). Details on globals will be a bit later.
