Xiaomi is preparing for the presentation of the Xiaomi 13 series, which may be one of the first on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Recall that the latest flagship chip will be presented in two weeks, after which the hottest waiting time for Xiaomi fans will begin. Nevertheless, leaks are actively appearing now and they are very curious. Here, for example, information appeared on the Web about the characteristics of Xiaomi 13 Pro, which is as follows: 6.7 “AMOLED E6 display with QHD + resolution, the Qualcomm flagship mentioned above, 8 or 12 GB of RAM at 128, 256 or 512 GB ROM, three 50-megapixel Leica cameras (working with color), where Sony IMX989 acts as the main one and is supported by a telephoto and wide camera, a 32-megapixel front camera, a 4800 mAh battery with 120 W charging and Surge C2 and P2 chips, MIUI 14 on Android 13.

I must say that the indicated characteristics are reminiscent of Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which, however, has auxiliary sensors with a resolution of 48 megapixels, a lower generation display (AMOLED E5) and slight differences in numbers. If this information is true, then Xiaomi 13 Pro could be the global version of Xiaomi 12S Ultra, which was not and still is not in Xiaomi’s plans. Previously, various sources of leaks indicated that the 1″ sensor will be a flagship hit next year. It is unlikely that Xiaomi will stand aside this trend. We expect to receive confirmation in the next few weeks.
